Freepen.gr - Η διπλωματική αποστολή των ΗΠΑ στην πρωτεύουσα της Ουκρανίας συνέστησε στους Αμερικανούς να εγκαταλείψουν τη χώρα, προειδοποιώντας ότι η κατάσταση ασφαλείας θα μπορούσε να επιδεινωθεί γρήγορα.
«Η Πρεσβεία των ΗΠΑ προτρέπει τους πολίτες των ΗΠΑ να αναχωρήσουν από την Ουκρανία τώρα χρησιμοποιώντας ιδιωτικά διαθέσιμες επιλογές χερσαίων μεταφορών, εάν είναι ασφαλές να το πράξουν», ανέφερε η πρεσβεία στον ιστότοπό της την Τρίτη.
«Το Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών έχει πληροφορίες πως η Ρωσία εντείνει τις προσπάθειες για να εξαπολύσει πλήγματα εναντίον μη στρατιωτικών υποδομών και κυβερνητικών εγκαταστάσεων της Ουκρανίας τις επόμενες ημέρες», δήλωσε η πρεσβεία, δίνοντας οδηγίες στους Αμερικανούς υπηκόους να παραμείνουν σε επαγρύπνηση, να ακούσουν τις σειρήνες αεροπορικής επιδρομής και να αναζητήσουν κάλυψη σε περίπτωση επιθέσεων με πυραύλους ή μη επανδρωμένα αεροσκάφη.
«Η κατάσταση ασφαλείας σε ολόκληρη την Ουκρανία είναι εξαιρετικά ασταθής και οι συνθήκες μπορεί να επιδεινωθούν χωρίς προειδοποίηση».

- If in a home or a building, go to the lowest level of the structure with the fewest exterior walls, windows, and openings; close any doors and sit near an interior wall, away from any windows or openings.
- If you are outdoors, immediately seek cover in a hardened structure; if that is not possible, lie down and cover your head with your hands.

- Know the location of your closest shelter or protected space.
- Follow the instructions from local authorities and seek shelter immediately in the event of mortar and/or rocket fire.
- Regularly monitor local and international news and social media news channels.
- Ensure travel documents are valid and easily accessible.

- Review your personal security plans and always have a contingency plan in place that does not rely on U.S. government assistance.
